Coming from the land of capitalism, you get use to little conveniences in life like having access to any product you may possibly ever need. For example, if you want to do, make, clean, or build just about anything, you can always just run to Walmart or Home Depot and pick up whatever supplies you need for a reasonable price. This is not so much the case here, as most household products are extremely expensive and can only be purchased at the grocery or hardware store.
Which brings me to my America Craving...the Swiffer WetJet.
Today I had my first run in with the sad excuse for a mop that we found at the grocery store. Don't worry...we haven't gone a month and a half without mopping. It's just that Ross usually does the mopping. But, alas, today he is at class and the house must get cleaned before a friend coming to stay with us gets here, so I must do the cleaning.
